NC Tiny Homes for Sale from Wishbone

Wishbone Tiny Homes offers tiny homes built to meet residential codes. Multiple homes are available, with multiple pre-designed packages to meet everyone’s needs. The following are homes for sale by the company:

Oak Crescent

Oak Crest is a non-tiny home, or borders on a traditional home, that has 1,100 square feet of space on a single level. The large, screened porch allows the owners to enjoy the outdoors, and the home boasts:

  • 3 bedrooms
  • 2.5 bathrooms
  • Studio
  • Carport

There is also an 800-square-foot version of the home that includes 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a carport, trap door storage and a screened porch.

Z Huis

The Z Huis tiny is an off-grid home on wheels that was originally created as a collaboration between the designers at Wishbone Tiny Homes, the television show Tiny House Nation and the owners of the home.

The home was built on an 8’x24’ custom trailer and featured a 1KW solar PV system with a battery backup. An off-grid water tank gives the homeowners complete freedom in their home’s location.

When you approach the Z Huis home, you’re greeted by a freestanding deck that leads you to the patio entry door. The interior features a large loft, with a gallery-style kitchen below. The kitchen features a gas range, washer/dryer unit, large sink, countertops, refrigerator and pantry storage.

In other words, this tiny home has all of the creature comforts you’d find in a bigger home.

Beyond the kitchen, you’ll find the tiled shower and the utility area, which is the main control area for the PV system.

On the opposite end of the home is the Zen Den, where you can relax, watch TV or read a book. There’s a partial wall here to create the illusion of a separate space.

Just above the Zen Den is a pop-up desk that comes up out of the floor frame and can be used or stored away whenever you want.

To access the loft, there’s a climbing wall, which makes every night an adventure. If you’re not a fan of the climbing wall, there’s the option of having a ladder installed instead.

Currently, Wishbone Tiny Homes sells just the plans for the Z Huis.
